CONTENT RATINGS
Beware! The Bible tells about real life, and it's not all pretty. There are some parts of the Bible that you might not want your kids to read until they're ready. So... Wouldn't it be great if Bible stories came with ratings the way movies do? Now they do! We've rated the various parts of the Bible just like movies so you can preview sections that might not be appropriate for your children. Then you can make an informed decision about whether to read them together or to wait until your kids are older. See our Content Ratings Criteria below. |
KID-INTEREST RATINGS
Amazing! Some Bible stories are fascinating to children. Others, not so much. "Daniel and the Lions' Den" is a hit, but the genealogies of 1 Chronicles can drag on and on. Wouldn't it be great if you could know in advance which stories kids like best? We think so, too. So we've surveyed our consultants and given ratings to each part of the Bible, by book and by section. Help us improve our kid-interest ratings! Whenever you read from the Bible, fill out our survey and let us know what you think of the texts you read. From time to time, we'll adjust our ratings to reflect the input we receive from you and other readers. Interest Ratings: Very Interesting = 5 Interesting = 4 Normal = 3 Not Very Interesting = 2 Boring or Repulsive = 1 |
